here are my answers:

Crawl - yes
Walk - No
Stand on his own - No, but nearly there!
Eat with his hands - yes, but very messy
Eat with a spoon - No
drink his own milk in a bottle - No
Drink from a beaker on his own - yes
Speak - yes, Dadda, papa and the usual baby language!
Sleep through the night - yes
Sleep in his own room - yes
Sleep in the dark - No
Wave goodbye - yes, occasionally
Play on his own - yes
Give hugs and kisses - yes
Brush is own teeth (playing with his toothbrush in his mouth) - No
Dance - When I insist and dance with him, yes, otherwise he gets shy!
Clap hands - yes, although not perfectly
Fall asleep on his own - naps yes, but not at night
Baby sign - No
Understand 'yes and no' - yes
Sing - He knows when I'm singing and tries to 'sing along'
Press the buttons on his musical toys - No
Throw a ball, or an object - yes
Pick an object up when I ask him - Yes, when I say "Donne" which mean 'give', in French.

We are now 12 months !!!

But what he could do last week

Crawl - yes - he never got up properly but can commando crawl at a speed!!!
Walk - No - will walk if we hold his hands and he leads.
Stand on his own - for a few seconds
Eat with his hands - yes - not runny stuff but things like chunky bits of food, biscuits etc.
Eat with a spoon - No although if I stick something like porridge to it he can put it in his mouth.
drink his own milk in a bottle - hasn't had a bottle for ages
Drink from a beaker on his own - yes
Speak - mumumumum (esp if I'm trying to clean him up!!!), dadad, nanana. At nursery he saw a dog and said a version of woof woof
Sleep through the night - yes although not every night.
Sleep in his own room - yes
Sleep in the dark - yep
Wave goodbye - yes although he's still a male so it's a bit selective!
Play on his own - yes but has a short attention span
Give hugs and kisses - very slobbery kisses and goes "wah wah wah" on your cheek!!
Brush is own teeth (playing with his toothbrush in his mouth) - he chews it but we brush his teeth
Dance -yes he bops up and down
clap hands - yes and he will give himself a clap if you tell him he's a clever boy!
Fall asleep on his own - yes after letting him cry to sleep!
Baby sign - No
Understand 'yes and no' - yes selectively!
Sing - no
Press the buttons on his musical toys - yes
Throw a ball, or an object - yes
Pick an object up when I ask him - not really
swim - we used to go to swimming lessons but I'm back at work so haven't been for ages.
Mimick me - he can do round and round the garden on his hand and is starting to copy everything!

Eat with a spoon - yes but the mess is horrendous and she gets frustrated because it takes her too long.

Speak - Yes... papa, mum mum, tia, cat, grandma (dand dar) no yes, hello, bye bye, hola, hej.
Sleep through the night - yes (sorta and sometimes )
Sleep in his own room - yes
Sleep in the dark - yes

Play on his own - yes (but she prefers big sis)
Give hugs and kisses - yes
Brush is own teeth (playing with his toothbrush in his mouth) - yes
Dance - yes is really funny she sorta jiggles
Clap hands - yes (clap your hands for daddy coming on the wagon way, with a pocket full of money and a bag full of hay... its her favourite clapping song )
Fall asleep on his own - HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... no

Understand 'yes and no' - yes (understand yes.. obey... NEVER!! )
Sing - yes.... well she gives it a go.. shes not Charlotte Church or anything

Pick an object up when I ask him - Yes and she'll give it to me too if I ask for it

Walk - No - a few steps if holding her hands but I wouldnt call it walking despite MIL protestation that
Stand on his own - Not really, can hold herself up if she is hanging onto something but only for a split second
Eat with his hands - yes
Eat with a spoon - Nearly
drink his own milk in a bottle - yes
Drink from a beaker on his own - yes
Speak - mumumum, dadada, and "mat" not clearly but we think she's trying to say Milly Cat - thats what our cat is called ...
Sleep through the night - yes
Sleep in his own room - yes
Sleep in the dark - yes

Play on his own - yes
