OH MY GOODNESS !!!!
Damien slept in his own room last night for the first night, EVER!!!
He's never slept in his own room, never tried to put him in there. But we decided enough was enough as I was losing my sanity with his constant waking. So in he went to his newly painted bedroom and he only came into us once very breifly! I'm sooooooooooooo happy, I feel like a refreshed new woman haha.
He went down to sleep about half 8 after a bottle, slept fine till midnight when I finally went to bed (I'm not settling well, that' why it's so late). Damien woke up as soon as I went up and I brought him into my room for a cuddle, he wouldn't go back to sleep, then suddenly he laid with this head on my pillow and it was instant zzzz's. So I put my pillow in his cot with him so as to leave my smell there. He stayed asleep fine apart from a few breif cries in the night because he'd lost his dummy, but I didn't get up and just left hm to get on with it (much easier to do when he isn't in my room). He got the dummy back when he woke up
So I'm very happy, and when he woke at 7:20am I decided it was an okie time to get him up and have a cuddle and bottle of milk in bed with me and OH.
Well done Damien, he's a big boy now!
