What to buy?

What do you girls think is better? Pregnacare or Angus castus? Sorry if I have the names right lol I wasn't sure if I'm right or not thanks xxx

They are completely different lrb.

Pregnancare is nutrition for you and baba, Angus Castus is for your cycles and provides zero nutriational value.

Angus Castus is for anyone with irregular cycles and on the off-chance you get pregnant you need to be taking folic acid

I think I'm going to try that agnus castus too - is it just a one a day pill? Does it really work? x

Hey Irb,

You should definitely be taking Pregnacare, or similar whilst TTC, some reports say Folic Acid can even help you conceive.

Agnus Castus can help regulate and sometimes shorten your cycle, you only take it before OV as it can be harmful if you become pregnant, Clare Bear used it and found it fantastic and she got her BFP this month.

I might try it next cycle if I have no luck this one.

You shouldn't take both!!!!
Pregnacare alone has the daily amount you need you will not need to take another tablet of folic ontop honey. Not sure about the other..

Oh.. i didnt know that lol, although i did see some on ebay yday that said with folic acid but the others didnt so i didnt realise they all had it in.. Thanks girls!

Thanks for asking this. I've been wondering myself. I looked in Boots and Holland & Barretts on Saturday and they had Pregnacare in both and a couple of different versions of Angus Castus in H&B. I think I'll go for Pregnacare for the first month and maybe add Angus Castus to it once I've had a bit more time to track ov so I know whethere I need it, if that makes sense.

Now I'm just trying to work out where to get the pregnacare from. It was £9.99 in Boots & £9.95 from H&B for 30 tablets in a pack.

In Boots you tend to get 3 for 2 though, so you can get a bulk supply or mix it with other things.

I tend to get a mix of Pregnacare Conception, Oesteocare, Max Omega 3 Seven Seas and Wellman (for hubby) depending on what i'm short of.

It isn't cheap, but each box does last a cyle or two...
