Oh my god I am so confused!

I got a on my opk on cd13 and we bd cd13 and 14.

Today is cd16 and I got a this morning!

I am so confused why this has happened but will bf tonight but why an earth have I got 2 ???

I read somewhere that it is possible to ovulate twice closely together because this is how you end up with non-identical twins. One egg will be released from each ovary and it won't necessarily be on the same day so that is why you would get 2 peaks.

I am having the same problem with my opk.

I got my first on cd 16, another on cd17 at 1.30 then a negative at 10pm. So figured i'd ov'd. But nope did another opk about 5mins ago to double check ov is done and dusted but nope, looking back up at me in another smilie fast!!

I usually only get 2 positive opks, what the heck!

That means i gotta bd again, we've been at it 5 days in a row plus every other day before that since cd6.....i love him, but i'm losing the will to live!!

Many women assume that they ovulate once per cycle and that’s that. However, studies have shown that many women ovulate more than once a month. This is certainly a good answer to the question why the rhythm method does not work like many assume it would. In fact, in one study 10 percent of the women ovulated more than one time in the same month. Similarly, all women examined by Canadian university researchers showed that the women had two waves of maturing eggs at the same time. That was not in line with what many had assumed for years regarding female ovulation. Interestingly, while some women may ovulate twice during a cycle there may be some cycles where they ovulate once and other cycles where they don’t ovulate at all. Nobody knows exactly why this is and until more research can be conducted it will be another mystery of the human body.

I think u can also get a surge which gives a positive but not ov so ur body tries again hence the second positive?!! Our bodies are wierd things!! X

How are you today poppy?

Well things has have taken another turn. Been having left side pain for near on a week now, then last night laid in bed and BAM right side stabbing pains! Definately felt like ov'ing pains! Completely unexpected really, thought i had ov'd from the left side. Havent done another opk yet, gonna wait til 2pm and test again!

I'm gonna pretend i'm 2dpo like my ticker says, just for my sanity! lol

I'm good thanks, had a really weird pain on my left side yesterday evening and again this morning but I think it's gone now . I done an opk last night and this morning both negative yet the one Wednesday morning was positive so I assume the pain was ovulation!

I hope your pain was also ov time and if you bd last night the sperm will be waiting for the egg xx
