Have just been laying in bed going through the list of things that gave me such a bad night last night and wondered if its just me that is struggling with so many things!
So here is my list, some pregnancy related some not, if anyone has any ideas on how to solve my sleep problems I would very much appreciate them. I am used to sleeping really well and getting up early (6am) feeling refreshed and ready to tackle to day. Since being pregnant I struggle to get up and cant normally get going till at least 10am.
Pregnancy related
Needing to pee
Having such a dry mouth that I gag and choke
Pulling pains when I turn over
Restless legs
Morning sickness (yes this starts at 2am most days)
Back ache
Too hot
Too cold
Racing mind
Just generally cant get comfortable
Non pregnancy related (but appear worse since I've been pregnant)
OH snoring
OH taking up all the bed
Next doors TV on loud at stupid o clock
Dogs needing to go out
Dogs needing to come in
OH getting up at early hours to go to work, normally just as I have dropped off into a nice deep sleep.
I think that is about it. The one that really gets me is the dry mouth! So dry I wake up gagging coughing and spluttering unable to talk as my mouth is so dry and stuck together. I always have a drink by my bed but it doesn't really make all that much difference.
What do you all do to help you sleep at night?
