What signs did you have that labour was close?

Although I didn't notice anything at the time, looking back my signs were,

My foul mood the day before!
Dull back ache
Really hungry
And feeling like I was in a world.of my own all day! Xx

Sorry, i can't be of any help as i've had no signs/symptons for either of my children. my son was induced as going term+14 and nothing happening. Nothing with my daughter until I woke in the night with a contraction and mucus plug gone; I gave birth later that day.

ERM, no signs that I noticed at all with my first, just woke up with mild contractions which gradually got worse. But I think I was in denial lol! With my second I went about my normal day, then 5pm lost my plug, contractions started about 20 mins later, and within 5 hours she was here.

This time around, I feel like I'm looking out for every little sign so I don't know what's real and what's not! I want to go into labour now!

Iv had such an achey back today. Cant get comfortable what so ever. Went on my ball for a bit aNd OH massaged me. Helped a bit but i ended up just going up to bed to lie down. Tmi but Also had a bit of the runs.. hoping im nearing the end now. Im getting fed up even tho im terrified to go into labour now lol!

Nasty question but.... what exactly does your plug look like? Iv heard you can loose it in bits or it can come away as one. Also been told its a creamy colour like snot then been told its dark with blood through it. Never noticed it with my son so i dont know what im looking for... xx

No signs at all for me, it was my hubby's birthday and we had been at a resturant with family and friends, got home just after 22 having told him and mum to crack on an have a few drinks as there would be no baby anytime soon (this was two days befor my due date) got in the bath and felt a trickle down my leg...thought Id wet myself but then more came and I figured it must be my waters...my baby boy arrived on his due date!!

Mine was a bright pink with darker bits of blood running through it, but I know for some people it's a creamy mucusy colour. Lovely lol!

Oh i know. Its not the nicest thing to talk about haha. Iv had creamy stuff. Like snot. I know there was a post on here before. Someone actually uploaded a picture. Mine was exactly the same. But im not 100% its plug as its been happening for 2/3 weeks. Xx
