I am going paint the babies room next week evan though I am having a girl I dont want pink ! what colour should i use and what paint is best x

I don't want pink either, I've got a deep purple colour and only painting one feature wall, the other 3 walls will stay white and I'll put purple canvas prints up on one of the white walls.

It'll basically be kinda what my bedroom looks like lol x

Hey hun. I didn't want pink either. All my bedding is quite vintage looking with pinks in it and my furniture is going to be white. I'm going for a light grey colour on the walls. It goes sooo nice with the bedding which has pink in it. I hope it looks as good as it does in my head! Ha ha.

We're team yellow so have painted ours in coffee colour at the bottom and cream at the top. Then made it Teddy bear themed so got stickers on the cream which are brown then just going to add coloured accessories like the bedding when they're born, so maybe something neutral? x

We went for Egyptian Cotton - really neutral and we're going to accessorise depending on which team we are xx

my LO's bedroom is done in B&Qs funky colours, Grasshopper(Green) and like a midnight blue colour, 2 walls green 2 walls blue! I hate it and wish I wouldn't have made his room so eye popping.

When he was a little baby though, he had mothercares range "please look after me" bedding and moses basket and cream walls with just one picture up, which was the religious verse, "footprints" xxx

We went for dulux melon sorbet & white furniture. Looks lovely & it's nice, bright & neutral as we want more babies so can move boy or girl in there :) xx

I used a cappicino colour for my LO's room when she was a bub! x

Terracotta would also be nice or duck egg blue :) x

Yeah it is very nice - forgot to say its a really nice light green. Will attempt a pic in a bit for you x

When we did AJ's room we colour matched the wall colours to the 'i love my bear' range. It has now been redecorated nice and bright and will be staying that way, baby will be moving in there eventually to.

We have 2 walls B&Q funky green, 2 walls B&Q funky orange, red curtains and blue carpet. It looks fab! x
