I've got a dream geniiee (sp.) It was an absolute God send with my first, my only regret was that I didn't get it earlier on in my pregnancy, this time round I can start using it as soon as I want
I got a "Snoogle" at only 9 weeks because I was getting horrendous hip pain and sciatica. It is the best thing ever - totally fixed my pain!! It's one of those really long pillows that curls around at both sides so you can have your belly on it and put it between your legs. I imagine I'll be loving it even more later on when I have a massive bump.. I would 1000% recommend.
Depends on your certain preferences, there's a plenty of such pillows now. But what I can say exactly that they're really helpful during pregnancy and if you have an opportunity to get the one, then do it. Mine is 'J-shape' and it was very good in helping me with back pain and getting comfort during sleeping, I still like to use it even after my baby was born
Your main things while choosing a body pillow will be:
- its whole safety for you and your child (it should be made only from natural materials, remember that some pillows, especially cheap memory-foam, can contain dangerous chemicals in their filling so always check carefully this thing before buying the one!)
-compatibility (it's better to choose the pillow which can change its shape because of that you'll be able to use it later and for your small baby too)
- comfortability (it should provide good support the pregnant woman’s body and be soft enough)
- size (this criteria is strongly connected with its shape, your pillow need to be comfortable for your height https://sleepmentor.net/best-body-pillows/ and fit your bed easy)
