Hi ladies, just wondering what you're all planning to wear coming home from the hospital?
Last time. I wore a wrap dress and I remember being really conscious of how big my"bump" still was, I didn't lose it for a couple of weeks :) I'd had enough of my maternity clothes by then too so really didn't want to wear any of them!!
This time, because it's Summer time here, I think I'll go for 3/4 length leggings and a tunic type top, not too flowy ( I don.t want to look bigger than I am) but definitely not too fitted either!! Have a couple of kaftan type tunics and loose shirts to choose from - all are breast feeding friendly too so I kill two birds with one stone! And everything will be nice and soft on me because I remember only too well how tender my bits were afterwards too!!! (sorry if TMI :)) and I think jeans would have killed me!

Just wondering what you ladies were thinking of wearing??

I was thinking floaty type of top soft leggings comfy uggs or something x

Sounds perfect..... I'm definitely thinking comfort !!!

True but il put nice scarf Cardigan n necklace on bit of make up
To feel good! That is if I get time with 2 .......

Of course!! It totally slipped my mind that you'd be going home with two lovely bundles!!!!!

Crikey hadn't thought about me to be honest!!!

Think leggings boots long cardi or jumper will be my best bet!!

i have packed leggings and a comfy long top to cover my bum as i had to wear 2 maternity pads last time so the top needs to be long enough to cover up lol

Think most of us are thinking along the same lines by the sounds of things :)

Nice warm jumper n jeans. I'll make sure I pack my straighteners and make up tho. :-) xx

ive got a pair of lose velour trackie bottoms with a loose grey top & a cardi :)
only put them in because i know the fitted me throughout pregnancy so they should fit nice after labour & there nice & warm & soft :D

i was gonna put jeans and a fancy top in but i thought what happens if i c-sec? wont be comfy then :(

i am going to go for my jammies...lol...only kidding...

probably nice loose bottoms and a floaty top.........i only have a 2 minute journey to home from hospital so as long as boo boo looks tarty smart i dont care about me...... :)

I hadn't thought of this at all! We are due in February and its often between minus 20 and minus 30 degrees celcius, so I will probably wear comfy clothes under a huge coat, hat, and boots! LOL

I'm struggling to find something :/ even my maternity clothes are getting tight now, so whatever clothes I do have that fit me I need, so can't really put in my bag yet. I might just do as some of you have suggested and go to primark and buy some leggings and a long top/jumper. I don't mind paying primarks prices! Lol.
I don't see the point in going out and buying more maternity when I don't have that long left.

Apparently most people's bump goes down to about the same size you were at 6 months pregnant x x

I think those thinking of wearing leggings out of hospital should go and pop a maternity pad (or 2) into their nickers under leggings and see how appealing it is then.

I'm going home in jogging bottoms or my maternity jeans, any top, and probably my poncho which I've been living in lately lol

I am planning on comfy yoga type trousers or trackies if jeans are too uncomfy and a hoodie and coat - I honestly couldn't care what I look like I just want to be comfy and get home with our baby! :o) However I do work at the hospital I'm giving birth in so fingers crossed its the middle of the night when I leave lol!
