Hi bute69. I had my first midwife appointment last week and like you i didn't know what to expect, this is my first pregnancy too. Basically all she did was take a few contact details, do my height/weight, ask about mine and my oh's medical history and do a couple of blood/wee tests. I also got a big pack of info/goodies so all in all it was pretty good! She'll also forward your details on so that you'll get your scan date and next midwife appointment. i got mine within a few days xx
