What 'exactly' happens when you are induced...

i held my induction off until day 15. and when i went in they did internal and cervix was already dilating, so they just broke my waters.

baby had passed meconium so they put me on the drip that evening as they didnt want to leave it any longer. and contractions were fine to begin with. then all of a sudden they came hard and fast and i was demanding an epi.

i was never on a ward, it was a private room in the midwife unit then transfered to labour & delievery downstairs for the drip.

Just a question about being induced on a ward. Is it the ward where there are newborn babies or what???? I never asked when they talked about inducing Isaac.
