What does it mean when...

What does it mean when ur cervix is really low!! Like an inch or two at most from the opening of your vagina?

I'm not 100% sure it's Defo my cervix as I'm not familiar with where it is usually etc but I can't think what else it could be. (38wk tomoro)

I'm worrying and can't stop thinking about it

it can mean your pelvic floor muscles are under strain! which would make sense for you being 38 weeks preg! Your mw prob won't be checking you yet. But try not to worry.

I have had 3 babies and since the 2nd my cervix is always very low, like just inside opening (tmi sorry) - to the point I cannot use tampons when on my period! but it didn't stop me carrying my 3rd baby to full term with normal delivery
