I've had 3 miscarriages in the past and just found out I'm pregnant again. Would you ask the G.P. to check progesterone levels, do they do that kind of thing as a standard procedure? I'm currently on 5mg of folic acid and low dose aspirin, just want to give this every chance I can, just read that progesterone supplements can sustain a pregnancy. Any advice/knowledge would be great! X x

P.s. Maybe I'm clutching at straws with the progesterone thing and what will be, will be! X x

Hi, I asked for my levels to be checked tho doctor didn't (said too much variation to be of any use). However I pushed and they spoke to fertility consultant I was under who said to prescribe it tho apparently agreed levels vary so much so didn't ask for them to be checked.
Goodluck! It's so worrying. And I'm so sorry for your losses. Really hope this is it for you this time.
