What did everyone have for Dinner?

Ah the phopo book is a lovely idea too..... Ha yeah 4 of us trained as chefs over the years....and 2 of us were/are in the catering/food business so yup we all love food too....lol!!
I think back in the days where people had larger families cooking and the whole food thing wasnt just for survival, it was a way of life and something I def miss only having one child (for now) lol but we tend to have lots of get togethers involving food with extended family and inlaws so thats nice too.....

Yeah suggest it to your mam Im sure she will be delighted that your wanting some of her recipes for years to come xxx
 
Oh they cooked Liver on last weeks Marco's kitchen programme, the woman sent it back because it wasn't pink but it was :lol:

I do love all the food shows Wilma :yay: and food as well :lol:
 
Ah me too mamfy....I dont watch tv much but I must confess I record lots of food programmes and cooking stuff...I JUST LOVE IT!! And eating it too which doesnt help lol....ha!

Oh yeah I love liver but just cooked as it goes rubbery doesnt it....yum yum!!

So what you making for dinner tonight then??

Beef stew done in the slow cooker :love: But can't decide whether I should make mash or dumplings with it? :eh:

And i'd go with mash......and dumplings!!!! and then bread for after thats all gone to soak up any left over gravy!!!
 
Tea tonight is jacket potatos with cheese and crispy bacon mmmm!! xxx
 
In the end I made dumplings with it :lol: I did make mash for the lo's though as they hate dumplings :eh: It was soooooooooo nice and very little excites me food-wise lately but this was delicious :love:
 
well tonight we had sausage casserole, new potatoes and mixed veg it the first meal i've kept down in nearly a week after having gastroenteritis all last week! it was lush
 
mcdonalds large big mac meal with double cheese burger on the side - oops!!!! :oops::oops::oops: i proper wolfed it down, don't feel good for it now either, eurgh :puke:

I had bacon and leek risoto with that yummy arborio rice (love it - real comfort food and yet it's healthy)
