What date will they go by?

Went for growth scan and they said she was was going to be n the bigger woman gave me notes to give to consultant with growth charts etc, now im confused was looking at paper work for date dates it says

GA (EDD) 32W5D
GA (AUA) 33W5D

EDD 4.8.2011
EDD (AUA) 28.7.2011

(don't what letters mean)

Spoke to midwife she said looks like they have bought due day forward, is this the case im really confused!!

Does sort of look like they have brought your estimated due date forward by about a week. Might just be that they will keep a closer eye on things after the first date and check on babys size etc if it hasn't made an appearance rather that waiting an extra week. Don't think it is anything to worry about. You could always ring and ask them to explain it properly - think sometimes the hospital people see so many people everyday that they forget we have no idea what they are talking about or writing about!

I know that GA = Gestational Age and that EDD = Estimated Due Date. Not sure about AUA...could it be something like After Ultrasound Analysis or Adjusted Ultrasound Age?? Hmmm...def sounds like you've been brought forward a week! xx
