What cribs have you all got for the side of your bed?

If anyone could help to make sure I have the right thing, pictures would be amazing too aha :) or links to sites that yours are on xxx

I know there was a tragic accident with a BedNest but we went ahead and ordered one to rent anyway. I spoke to friends that'd used them and the general consensus was that it was a freak accident and they hadn't been using it correctly. No pics I'm afraid as it hasn't arrived yet!

We went for the snuzpod because you can zip the side up and down whilst it's attached to the bed whereas with others such as the Chico next to me crib you can't do that whilst attached to the bed. Also you can lift the top bit off (the crib bit) and put it elsewhere where in the house so it kind of serves as a bigger Moses basked option too. Also when it's attached to the bottom bit you can rock it which i think is nice?

We've just got Moses basket. Until too big then be will be in a cot. . x

We've got a snuzpod too for all the same reasons as becky85. I'd actually already bought the Chico next to me but returned it and got this instead - I love it!

We got ours from the little green sheep company

We've got a Moses basket and a bedside crib which looks like a mini cot lol can't describe it better than that. We've not much room next to my side of the bed so they were our only options and luckily someone gifted us the bedside crib xx

I'm still in 2 minds as we are expecting twins and don't know if 2 babies will fit into a crib?! We can't fit a cot into our room either so no clue what we will do xx

Just a stand alone crib which is about two foot away from my bedside xx

I'm putting mine in a crib together to start with, this was on the advice of my friend who has twin boys. How long they will last I don't know but she said hers were in it a good while.

Oh really? Side by side? I can't imagine 2 fitting in one lol!
Also, I read that you shouldn't put them in the same Moses due to over-heating - do you think this is different for cribs?! Xx

The crib will have more open sides but I guess you wouldn't have to swaddle them individually if you were worried about heat.
Her boys wanted to be together which is obviously another factor to consider. They went side by side to begin with then feet to feet/head to head. I find out on Wednesday my estimated weights for them both so I should get a better idea of whether they are going to fit in! My little boy was 6lb 10 and was drowned by his crib, we had to get a sleepyhead pillow to make it a better fit.
They have their own cotbeds in their nursery but initially I had just assumed I'd put them in together - but then all my advice has come from only one twin mum. x

Thanks everyone really really helpful. We have one but I'm really anxious about it being safe enough xxxx

Thanks Hun! I'm going to do some research & see what is suggested! A crib will be so easy - but like you say it depends how big/small they are xx
