We also had a lovehearts (as in the sweeties) theme lol. Our invites had loveheart sweeties on, the wedding favours were mini packets of the sweets and bubbles and our wedding cake was decorated with loveheart sweets and candy necklaces ( Chocolate cake on the bottom, carrot on the top). The cake was wicked!

That sounds fab I wish we'd done something like that but we kept it quite trditonal beacuse my nana made the cake.

Ive noticed these on ebay and i REALLY want to get them, but OH thinks its cheesy. We are not doing favours as such, just skattering things like that on the tables for people.




We are getting bubbles though. We have LOADS of kiddies comming to our reception so i want to keep them entertained - there is a massive field next to our venue which they are allowed on

We had ivory/cream, deep red and deep purple - the deep purple was just mainly in the boquets, cake and invites (order of service, menus, place cards etc) as I was determained I wanted thistles to play a part in it - I will dig out pics of them invited later as I dont have any on my laptop.

This is what I would like and have been planning since engaged (2004)! I have even made a sample of my invites. I would have a big love hearts table plan and big bowls of love hearts (out of the packets) on the tables. Just need to save up for the actual wedding now!
