I've got to get into this knitting!! M2A I made u a promise didn't I!! I need badgering lol. X

We changed the car last year in prep for the baby - but as im new to driving (2yrs) i didnt want a massive car so we've gone from a petrol polo to a diseal golf = bigger and more efficient!!

hubby is a drummer so ive also made him sell some of his beloved drums to make room for baby stuff like - an eletronic drum kit, a whole drum kit (he still has 2 so dont feel bad for him - wishes he played the flute so take up less room :rotfl:) and about 3 snare drums + cymbols!!

currently trying to sell my bike and when baby comes the bunk beds would go - step kids would sleep on the sofabed then and their room turned into a nursery! they come every other wkend so not as if they here all the time x

Sounds like you are getting very organised too!! Oh was very upset at the weekend as he has one of those draughtmasters (beer tap) and it has been sitting in the kitchen for ages without being used so I said that it had to be moved (not got rid of may I add just put on top of the kitchen cupboards!) as you can imagine it went down really badly!! Lol! Now I have space in my kitchen for a sterilizer!

I would never pre plan for anything until Im definitely pregnant. I dont see the point. We have 9 months of planning once it happens and if I plan any tiny thing now and dont get pregnant for 2 years, Id be upset. Good forward thinking though ladies x

THing for me and hubbie is that he works long hours and is too tired at nights to do things and doesnt want to spend all weekend doing household stuff so im trying to do stuff now so I can relax when im pregnant!! Also with the loft I can help at the min but I wouldnt want to be lifting heavy boxes etc when im pregnant and I know DH wouldnt want me to either!! A Lot of these things really need to be done in anycase even if we dont get pregnant!!
xxxx

M2A: thats a really nice blanket!!

I really love to knit! I'll tell ypu a secret: I have knitted so
e baby socks and I told everyone that their for a friend, but I want to save them for my future baby! These socks were so easy to knit! Will see if I can post a picture of them tomorrow.

Cherry: I know how you feel, I have been trying for a year soon! But I really enjoy day dreaming about my future baby and knitting for him/her. And if I can't have a baby? Well than hubby has promised "to buy" me one (adopt one).

Either way, I WILL have a baby and I'm really looking forward to it!:)

Here are the socks I have knitted for my future baby...hope I can use them soon:)

Mrs N: thats the sea in the background yes...I took the picture waiting for the ferry I have to take from work!

And I agree with you M2A, its amazing how relaxing it is to knit! I just get so adicted to it:)

If some of you want to try to make these socks, they are really easy to make. You'll find the recipe here. Just scroll down and you will find the recipe in English. If you don't understand the recipe, I can make it even simpler for you (I'm knitting another pair now, and thought I might document every step, so that I make a "knitting baby socks for dummies" recipe;) Let me know, and I'll make it!

Sunnygirl: I'm flattered...I'm not a photographer, but the landscape is really beautifull there. I just love photos in black/white so I edited in photoshop.
