Hello Ladies,

I've been racking my brain and i cant for the life of me think of the name for those large cushions with a hole in, which baby can lay on.

Some come in flower shapes, some are circular?

Does anyone know what i'm talking about ???

xx

No problem! I got one and its very useful, i got mine too late but I have it for the next baby. The older version of the cosy is still in some mothercares and ELCs for much much less ££££ xx

Yes! I just found it in Debenhams for £11 ! woohoo bonus xx

I seen this thread and thought...yaaasss i've found the answer to the question i've been asking for donkeys...but this is something different.

maybe you's can help - whats the name of those things that you use when baby is bigger, its like an actual seat/potty, and keeps baby in one position? lool cant think for the life of me how else to explain it.

BTW - i had one of the things mentioned in this thread, it was a blow up ring thing inside it, think it was a galt playnest, it was really good, cat got ahold of it tho and scratched it and it burst.

I used mine when Isla could hold her head up for a long time. So she was around 4 months old. They can get out of them but when they are older. Isla is almost able to get out of hers at 9 months but ive known heavier babies able to do it before then x

You can also get a tray for the Bumbo which is handy for feeding/putting toys on, Tegan is 9 months and can get out now But only If the tray isn't on x

I will defo be getting a bumbo - what do you all use it for...like putting baby in while ur in the bathroom/kitchen or maybe while in the bedroom tidying up? They look good for that kind of thing, the tray sounds cool too.

:)

I used to take mine from room to room when cleaning. Or just for a change as Isla isn't one for being held all the time. We took it to the caravan and used it to feed her in. It's full of uses! Got ours second hand as they wash up really well xx

Yeah they look like the sort of things that could be easily cleaned, kinda like mini high chairs and as you said, good for taking away too, instead of worrying about high chairs.

That reminds me of my wee grannie bless her soul, she was 92 when she passed away 2 yrs ago and when we went to visit her from when my 1st was able to sit upright, my grannie would put a cushion on a dining room chair, put baby on the cushions and use scarfs to lightly tie round her tummy, to stop her falling off loool I was constantly worrying of her falling out ect but my grannie used to tell me off for being stupid lool we only did it at meal times, and never had any probs lool She was my great-grannie...grannies are great for making us realise life doesn't need to be complicated with lots of gadgets ect.

:)
