What am I supposed to do?

Hello,

I'm not currently registered with a doctor and am moving and registering on 23rd April.

I started to miscarry on Sat / Sun and have had a heavy bleed which has turned to medium/ light flow today. I have been using cheap hpt's to see if you hcg hormone is dropping and it seems to be a bit each day.

Am I supposed to go and get checked out? I don't mind paying. Or do I wait until I stop bleeding?

Also does hcg have to be down to 0 before I will ovulate again?

Sorry for so many questions. If any of you can advise I' d be really grateful.

Go to a local Early pregnancy assesment centre, usually at your local hospital, they should be able to do any check ups needed.

I suppose it depends on the situation before the miscarriage.

If you had registered your pregnancy with a docs surgery I would phone them.

If not then it would be worth phoning the EPU at the hospital. It may be that they want to give you a scan to check everything has gone.

If you don't want to go to a hospital/docs I would continue doing internet cheapie tests every few days over the next couple of weeks until the line disappears (this isn't pleasant either- trust me on that).

If the lines go over the next 2-3w I would imagine everything has gone. If the line doesn't go completely the there may be bits left so I would def contact the docs then.

I think that your hcg level needs to be below 5 to ovulate rather than 0.

I suppose if you are charting you will see your temp gradually drop over the next week or 2 as the hormones go. Hopefully you will O in the next 4-6w.

yea when i was heavy bleeding and had some cramps/pain i went hospital. I was on all 4's on bed screaming get it out of me cause the pain i had was too much so unbareable.

Id say go hospital, they will do a urine sample and check u out may even ultrascan u as they did me just incase and see how much blood and fluid is left in your body

I started to m/c on sat night/sunday and on wed night I went to the hospital because my gp still didn't have results back from a urine test and I wanted to know what was happening. they just did a quick test and said it came back negative and that was it! They didn't check me out or anything. I don't know if they would have if it was still positive.

Maybe i had my m/c early so i got a negative result quite soon after and didn't need checking. I so confusing isn't it
