We're pregnant!!

Hi all,

Thank you to the girls who congratulated me on the introductions forum. As I announced on there, I got my BFP on Monday!! It doesn't feel real yet as I have had no real symptoms except for the missed AF and we had only just started trying so I feel so lucky for it to have happened so quickly. I am just 5 weeks and 2 days by my own calculations so plenty of time yet for sickness etc.

Congratulations to all you others who have just got the same news and good luck to those of you still TTC.

As this is our first, everything is new to us and I have been on loads of pregnancy websites ever since I found out. I wanted to buy a book and wondered if anybody had any good recommendations. I've been on amazon and the newly revised: Your Pregnancy Bible by Anne Dean seems to have good reviews. Would anybody here recommend it? Also I wanted to get one just for my OH and heard of one called From Here to Paternity but don't know who the author is and there seems to be quite few different books with that title.

Are there any other book people have found helpful?

Maybe trying tri 1 like Tracey suggested isn't a bad idea

When I had my son 11 years ago I had the first version of this and loved it. When I found out I was pregnant again I ordered the up to date version for my son and partner they are finding it very helpful (I have also loved reading it again)!

Congratulations! I have got What to Expect When You're Expecting for me which is quite informative, not really gripping though, but I got my DH The Baby Owner's Manual which is hilarious and the only pregnancy book he's actually looked at for more than 5 minutes!
