well now I am just confused!

well had lots more cm again today (ovulation number 2 of the cycle was 24th) so did another ov test. there was a line, not that dark but much darker than previous negatives! (about half as dark as the very dark control line)

what is wrong with my body!?
anyone else had loads of ovulations in one cycle? and is it not a bit mad to have 2, let alone 3 ovulations within 1 cycle? or are te internet cheapy tests actually quite rubbish?

It doesn't seem likely that you are ovulating more than once in your cycle, hon (unless they're one right after the other, within 24 hours of each other) because the hormone released when you ovulate stops the other follicles from continuing to mature, thus ensuring that you don't have more than one pregnancy at a time. The more likely situation is that your body is trying to build up enough of the proper hormone, getting to a point, and having to start over again (which also seems to be happening to me this cycle). This will explain your multiple patches of fertile cm and multiple 'almost +' on the opk.

If you don't already, you might want to start charting your bbt in the morning so you can see clearly when you actually have ovulated.

the one on the 1st and 24th were very very dark lines. no idea what ths one's all about, probbaly just a rubbishy test or something.

It's also possible that, if you did actually ov already, the opk is picking up a pregnancy - have you tested?

tested just before realised i was oving christmas eve. it was bfn. was planning to test again on 10th january. if bfn then and atill no af going to the doc for bloods and a big check up on what could be going on!!

the hardest is knowing that if I'd been lucky from the start I'd be about to give birth in january but I still have absolutely nothing to show for all that time trying

You just need to remember that one day SOON it WILL be your turn babe. I've now been going 14 or maybe even 15 months now and every damn month these negs keep rolling in BUT, my day will come again. It did with my son Tommy after 2 years and it will again. Keep at it, it will happen Rose, I promise

I'll try - at the moment I feel a bit strange about it cause i don't know what's going on. I feel like it's not going to happen so when a bfn comes along it's not really a surprise. Not really how I'd like to feel, I'd like to be more optomistic but with loopy cycles all of a sudden and other things going on (like my gran's skin pre-cancer and operations) I'm trying my best not to obsess and convince myself the wrong way and then get really disappointed like I did last month.

I know how frustrating that can be! I'm on CD40 now and my body was/is giving me signals of ov and possible pregnancy, but my temp is all over the place and still no af.

Are you going to have bloods done?
