Weird Sticky Stinky Poo

Today my five month old's poos have suddenly gone quite foul-smelling and really sticky. I have to wipe her hard to get the poo off her bottom. It is still the same bright yellow colour and she is fine otherwise, though she does have bright red hot cheeks which I have put down to teething. Do you think the weird sticky poos are due to teething too?

I see that you are moving from breast to bottle - when did you start? This sounds like DD's nappies when we moved to formula - they were the same colour but sticky and stinky. OH offered to pay me to keep up the breast milk the nappies were so awful We used heinz nurture and the nappies, especially the smell, were horrendous. We tried SMA and the smell wasn't as awful but she seems a bit constipated at times. For a while now she has been on aptamil as it has worked best for us and although the poos are still bad smelling it's not as bad.

Actually I weaned her from boob to bottle at 12 to 15 weeks so it isn't that. I just haven't changed my signature for a while - sorry to mislead! The nappies did get stinkier with formula but this is a new level of stinky! This morning they weren't as bad but still weird as they are solid. She doesn't seem bothered but clearly something strange is going on....

Oh this is interesting. Ollie has been drooling and his poos stink recently.
