Wedding Dress update...

evening ladies...

Tried my dress on today....it has arrived in the shop.

Seamstress seemed very unphased by my ever to be growing body!! ha ha

she said whatever happens and however big i get, they will get my in that dress. It's the kind of style that isn't tight and it's empire line. she said they will just change the buttons down the back to a panel with lace up instead, which will not spoil the dress one bit....will still be very pretty

so i feel much happier about it all now...

my bridesmaid dresses are in too and the colour is lush.....much nicer than i expected, very pleased with them

15 weeks to go....

my friend is getting married this friday and she is 5 months, the dress has been altered so much lol she is quite big too and panicking like mad, i am bridesmaid and hoping like mad i can contain my wind while stood in the church...seriously its getting immense

That sounds great samsgirl. A lace up back is a great idea, your seamstress has obviously had pregnant brides before so she knows all the tricks.

aww lovely!! I now have this task too haha, found a dress I love but it's going to have to be suitable for adjusting. I can't decide on a date yet though, I dont want to be huugge, but we cant afford anything very soon, so not sure I have much choice! Your bridesmaid dresses sound lovely too, you must be so excited! x x x
