And bought a few bits! We were gonna wait til 12 weeks but after our lovely scan last week at 9 weeks we thought what the hell we need to buy things gradually as we aren't very rich so today we got two packets of bodysuits and a hooded towel I am v excited!

That's pretty brave! I'm too scared still of something going wrong. I dont even let myself look at baby clothes as i get emotional (damn hormones), I just keep counting the days, the hours and the minutes until we are past 12 weeks and I can get excited. I'm very pleased for you though that you feel it already xx

i bought early with my first and had a MC and also bought early with Madison and she is here!! so i dont think buying early has anything to do with stuff going wrong i think DEFO go for it!! cos if something goes wrong realistically u just pack it away for the next! so i think ur right to think positive mrs!! am excited for u!! next has some lovely unisex bits too chicky!! xx

i have bought hooded towels, and am bidding on a nappy genie thingy on ebay!
i bought a changing mat and covers on thursday so my dad could make the changing table to the right specifications!!
mum has already knitted a baby suit and bonnet!

going to start really buying things once we know what we are having... but i think a few bits here and there are ok!!

and it is sooooo much fun!!!

I have not bought anything for baby yet......absolutely nothing!! I kept everything from 4 years ago with my son and its all in attic but I think now is the time to go up and see what I've got and what I need to buy.... I'm so positive its gonna be another boy but I'm team yellow ha ha

I don't think buying a few bits early is going to make anything bad happen. I bought some little vests because they were are bargain when i was about 9 weeks. It's all so exciting!

I've bought a couple bits too hun (well actually we've secured all the nursery furniture ) but on the understanding with the store that it can all be returned/cancelled if need be. Our nursery furniture was far too much of a bargain to miss. Also got a sterilising kit which is being stored at the in-laws for now. For some stupid reason, although I agreed to all this stuff, I can't bring myself to buy a cute little outfit
