Isaac is getting really stuck in his ways with what he will eat, so we have decided to try one new food a week. This week we are trying quorn chicken style dippers because since we stopped being veggie he hasn't really taken to real chicken. He lives on fish fingers, fish cakes, salmon fillets, quorn sausages and pasta (obviously with a sauce or veg or beans or spaghetti hoops  He loves his fruit and veg so I'm not worried from a nutritional point of view, I just want him to have a more varied diet :)

I will update next week!

:D

Good Plan Lou, I made the mistake of not doing this with paris and we had a battle at 6 1/2!!

what age did you start giving quorn?

When he started eating solids, we were veggie but since this year we have started eating meat again but me & Isaac still like our quorn stuff!

I have yet to give it to harrison, seans a veggie so when we have chilli etc we have quorn

I prefer quorn mince to beef mince :D

my health visitor told me before not to give it because it's too rich in protein??? I think since he's almost 1 though he should be fine

But surely it can't have more protein than meat?

I'm not sure hun, sorry

Isaac had the quorn dippers tonight with fresh carrots and he ate the whole plate!

He also had lentil & veg soup this week and really liked it :)

Not sure what to try next week. Cauliflower cheese I think, he hasn't had that since he was on jars.

:D
