Hi ladies!!!
Ok, so its not the most pleasant topic but just wondering.........
1, are you planning to have a bikini wax before labour?
2, if so are you going to go for just bikini line or something more "all encompassing" like the brazillian or hollywood?
3, WHEN are you planning to go for your pre-labour wax??

I definately know that I plan to get a wax, I find the whole "labour" thing quite embarrasing to think about, I'm a very modest person and its just weird to think of ANYONE seeing me from those kind of angles whatever the reason!!
I have only ever had "bikini line" waced before but am thinking of going for either a brazillian or hollywood as I just think it might be easier, but then at the same time I don't want to look like a pregnant porn star!!
I am also unsure WHEN to go and get it done! If baby can come anytime from 37 weeks up to 10 days late I really don't know when to book in? If I book in at week 38/39 and go into labour early I will be mortified because obviously i will have been "letting everything grow" but then on the other hand if I have it done at 37 weeks and go 10 days over it will have been pointless anyway!!!
I'm sure that most people don't stress quite so much about this stuff but I am just sooooooo not happy at the thought of being "exposed" in this way, and I know people say, "once your in there you forget all about it, but I know myself and I am OVERLY over the top when it comes to modesty so I am 99% sure that I will be very "aware" of all this sort of thing throughout so just want to be as "prepared£ as possible so at least I am not worried about looking too grosse!!!

To be honest, i don't care lol. Its such a struggle for me to even shave and i am too much of a wimp to get a wax or anything... i am just gonna have a quick shave as best i can lol. xxx

same as shauna, too much effort for me and its not like I have to see them again anytime soon after having the baby. so im not bothered if it looks like an overgrown jungle, will give it a quick once over and sort it out properly once i can see my feet again. hehe.

Why dont you have it done early just in case you have bubs early and then you can always have another later on as it will need re waxing in about 3 ish weeks!! Maybe go for a high bikini?

Same!! It is so hard to shave now for me, i can't even see the area haha! I do a blind shave and then have to look in a mirror after to see if i've missed anything. I'm doing alright though i think a quick shave does the bizz! Keeps the jungle at bay xx

i've also got veet binkni line stuff!!! have tryed it out already and it does an ok job so planning on using that! as there is no way i'd be able to have a wax, had my legs done 3 times and each time they have bleed as my skin is so sensitive! OH said he'll have a go at it if i'm not happy!

i do think that once we're in labour all we will care about is getting the baby out safe!

Snap! I don't give a damn what whoever delivers my Son thinks of my bits, they should be concentrating on delivering my baby safe and sound anyway! x

Yup - I'm sure it will go out of our heads, but I have had this conversation with a preggers friend at work too!!!!
Yesterday had a go in the mirror before midwife appointment and not too bad but not as neat as normal! Hubby is willing to do it for me before the big day, might let him practise first though. I think I would like to look a bit neater down there than I do at the moment, same with legs and armpits!!!!!

I'm thinking of going for a Brazilian or super high bikini..... I was thinking 1.5 weeks before due date. I wont go to my local beauty salon, couldn't imagine them seeing my foof and then waving hello on the street! - very small town ha ha

In the meantime I let my hubby keep my lady garden rosy - no way I could do it myself!

Im dreading this :/ I normally just neaten it, to is all even and not overgrown lol But i don't think I'll be able to manage by the time I'm full term!! I don't like it being baldy lol neither does OH, but I don't like it over grown either...:S

I don't think I'd be bothered enough to wax lol, although my hubby's already offered to help me trim it a bit when I can't manage anymore. Like the others, I really don't think I'd be very bothered about what it looks like (but would definitely have a wash once I'm in labour, as I do care about what it smells like )

I already get waxed everywhere and get the hollywood every six weeks so the hairgrowth is long enough im going to try and time it for 2weeks before my due date and if i go 2weeks over its just tough.

When my sister was pregnant she was huge and i had the task of shaving her legs as she couldnt bend over to do it herself! eugh i think she just attempted to sort herself out around her due date time so i can only imagine patchyness as she couldnt see her feet past the bump let alone anything else ..... nasty image there lol.

If i didnt wax already i dont think i would be too bothered and just try and keep it as neat as i could and resort to trusting the BF to help me if i get too big.

Iv got some of that veet stuff too never used it before hubby said he will help as I cant even reach at the moment havnt a clue what it looks like down there now lol iv been blind shaving im sure its not the neatest!! im not really bothered if I went in with a jungle tbh tho its just me personally I feel more like myself if its neat and tidy couldnt care less about what ppl think of my foof in labour im sure they have seen much much worse and the amount of foofs they have to look at everyday they probably dont even notice x

Im not sure how many weeks you are at the moment but i'd get it done soon and then you can get it done a couple of weeks before DD. I found that when i first had a brazilian it didn't grow back for ages (probably tmi) but everyone is different. You can then judge it. I get mine done every 8 weeks so will be due a couple of weeks before anyway. It could be that you can't stand the sight/thought of it with no hair (i freaked out first time) so best to do a test run Fx

Veet all the way!!! I've got mirrors etc so will try my hardest with that.. If I need to I will let OH tidy it up if I can't reach... But I was very shy with it all when I had brooke, but in the end I did not care!! Xx

I've booked in for a leg wax and bikini when I'm 37 + 5! so u do hope I goes ok im a bit scared but I tried to tidy down there with a razor and was a disaster as I can't see anything lol!! Whether I go or not is another thing - if I'm brave enough!!
