Water???

I've been ebf since LO was born. Was considering making his afternoon feeds formula ones now that he's 4 months. Still bf morning and night times. What I need to know is if I do this do I need to give him extra water or will he get enough fluid from morning and night breast feeds?? Just so u know he normally has 2 feeds in morning and at night he feeds hourly from 7-10 when he goes down for the night,

you only need to give water if the weathers really hot. and then its only an ounce tbh. it can cause salt imbalance etc according to my hv x

my lo is 5 months and is in love with water, ive just started giving her a sippy cup so its looks like a lot has gone but in reality its just on her clothes and the floor she loves it though !
