Water birth

I had a water birth with my daughter and I want one this time.

The question is has anyone had a water birth at home?

How did you find it?

Could you pm me the website of the place you hired the pool.

I had planned a home water birth, but I didn't hire a pool, I bought an inflatable one from http://www.birthpoolinabox.com. My midwife recommended it.

I ended up not using it because he was born so quickly there wasn't enough time to fill it up, but hopefully I'll get to use it next time!

You could ask your midwife if she knows of any birth pools locally you could borrow/hire if you don't want to buy one.

Hi ladies

Thanks so much for your replies.

At my booking appointment I ask my midwife if she knew of any places but she said we would talk about it nearer the time. I would rather get the research done now so I feel more comfortable with a home birth. Its flying by now I cant believe I am 12weeks tomorrow. 1 tri down 2 togo lol.
