Washing machine help!!

In the last 4 years I've had two washing machines, they weren't what I call proper brand names, but 2-3 months outside the guarantee (sp?) they both have broken!

With another baby on the way I want a decent washing machine that works and lasts. I've seen one I really like which is the LG direct drive steam (very expensive) but I'm a bit of a hygiene freak and I adore the fact the steam is supposed to kill the germs in fabric, as I'm going to try and use the reusable nappies I thought the steam might be a good idea.

I would love to hear from anyone who either has this washing machine or a machine that they think is fantastic.

i havent used this particular brand but if when the warrenty is up take out the insurance on it as it is totally worth it its dryers that break on me more than washers
