oh great! we've just spent a small fortune on an integrated Hotpoint washing machine! no problems so far though... never ever buy an Indesit, i've had 3 & they are crap

DO NOT get a HOTPOINT

I have a washer/dryer and it has broken down again the third time in 6 weeks. I will be on the phone to them later on kicking off as yesterday the useless piece of cr@p leaked all over my kitchen

It was great until I had Sam it obviously cannot cope with the extra washes I have to do

Is it the WD420? That is the one i have.

In the last 6 weeks I have had 2 callouts to it. The first time they replaced three parts then 2 weeks later it broke again and they replaced another part, now it's leaking

I'm so mad all this started just after the warranty expired luckily I renewed it.

It is so strange all this anti-hotpoint statements. My Mum ALWAYS had hotpoint - she swore by them.

I think she had her one for about 15yrs with only 2 call outs.

No its not (PHEW!) its the HOTPOINT WT640 but the 7kg one and matching dryer. I hope it doesnt break on me cos think i'll cry haha!

Mine will shortly be getting slung out of the door.
It's quite funny really OH bought it because the one I wanted (Bosch) was out of stock so i'm blaming him for choosing it (Well done).

I hope you have better luck with yours.

i've got the 'moon' one, it looks pretty but i dont think i would reccomend it.

its 30degree wash is quick but pointless, things come out still folded (was washing muslins and new baby clothes)

its 40degree wash takes 2hrs which feels like forever when your waiting on it, and i dont think its really that good.
