Was your first baby early or late?

Still wondering how many days late I would have been if not induced.

Owen was a week early ! Weirdly my private scan dated him a week early but nhs predicted a week later!!

I think it will be really helpful to get a quantitative picture. It's handy to know for people considering maternity leave dates etc...

I know first babies are meant to be late, however I also know several that have been early including my nephew who was born on his poor Mum's first day of maternity leave

Both of mine were late. First one was 14 days late, second was 6 days late. No doubt this one will be as well.

CARNET22, a poll sounds like a great idea! I'm trying to decide how long to take for maternity leave at the moment. I don't know how to start them either - any one else know how???

My son was 14 weeks early! Left work on a friday afternoon and did not go back for 9months!
Am 24weeks now so hoping this one stays in for the duration - however I have tidied my desk and started writing a bit of a manual just incase it happens again!

All being well am hoping to take 6months off this time round
