Bought a pushchair/car seat yesterday! It's so exciting! Did the mothercare baby plan so don't have to pay it off till november which is a bonus, but does mean it won't get delivered till then and I so wanna play with my new toy hehe!

Got a bit freaked out when I saw the newborn baby clothes, it all suddenly got very real and scary! Can't believe no-one's making me take some sort of degree in parenting before I'm allowed to look after something so small!

What has everyone else bought so far? I haven't bought anything apart from the pram cos I don't want anything in the house just yet in case the worst happens, so am waiting till my 20 week scan for clothes and things!

Eeeeeek! That's so exciting! Not bought anything yet but going shopping with my mum tomo...also developed a nappy obsession and can't wait to buy them! Lol xx

Ive got a highchair, a blowup donut play pen thingie, a self rocking chair, and a moses basket. All free from a friend :)

That's awesome MommaKat! I need to make friends with more mums lol x

My older sister has just finished having her kids, so apparently she has put everything inthe loft for me following my MC - her youngest is 2. She has all nice stuff too, as she is a named , brands type of girl, where I'm more the carboot variety, but the only thing to get is apparently a cot later on as hers has worn out her oldest is 13!

But I am dying to know what it all looks like, and still can't help at ogggling at the new prams!

I have shopping trip planned with a friend who is also TTC for coffee out and will be buying a Team yellow babygrow after my happy scan at 12/13 weeks etc to keep me going . When she falls pregnant and after her scan we are going to do the same for her babygrow.

thats the one iv fallen in love with in red because we are team yellow and the hubby supports Doncaster Rovers who play in red so he loves it too!!

i think we will start to buy stuf after the next scan and we come back from holliday, and have attacked the junk in the soon to be nursary, oh on the subject of nursarys any one got any good colour schemes in mind besides the normal pink blue or cream? we were thinking becuase the babys room is 13" x 13" 2 lemon walls and 2 pale orange, so then its unisex and not bog standard cream (none of our house is plain colours lol) and will grow with the kiddy for a few years until it can pick something it likes like cars or princess's etc :)

Great Idea, what about slight jungle animals theme, wth giraffes and elephants and lions to go with it! would cover either a boy or a girl

my dad suggested a jungle theme, hubby decided that if we just paint it then can sorta girly-fy it or make it more boy-like when its here, i mean no baby knows the colour of its bedroom anyway!! lol

I didn't buy anything until I was 11 weeks. I wanted to wait longer but I saw such a nice baby bath in the mothercare then that I already bought it. Since I don't live in the Uk right now and I was there for christmas shopping hehe I couldn't resist.

This time I don't have to buy a lot luckily because everything is so super expensive.
