I actually feel sick as im writing this..

ive had bad bleeding ever since bailey was born.. it comes and goes.. the last 2 days ive had nothing but really bad cramps.. and heavy bleeding.. just been to the loo and needed to push.. and this huge big thick lump came away.. im not kidding it was massive..i am so scared, earlier today i thought i was pregnant but being sterlised i brushed the idea away! it wasnt like a baby, it was all hard and the size of half a sausage.. what can it be.. i know if you loose a clot bigger than the size of a 50p to go to your g.. but all my pains have now gone..

mark has taken it to hospital to see what they say, but yuk.. any ideas!

might sound disgusting but could it not be part of the placenta that has been left inside?

i havent a clue, nearly 7 weeks ago i had him.. if it is maybe thats why ive been bleeding and having pains all theis time..

I am bck from the hospital.. and as you all said, it is placenta.. got to see the docter and he looked at the thing and said it was severly infected by the colour.. gross! all the pains ive been getting has been my womb trying to push it out.. and the massive bleed i had just before it came away has helped it come away.. but ive got a big infection now to deal with.. hes put me on 2 lots of antiboitcs CEFALEXIN 500MG 3 TIMES A DAY AND METRONIDAZOLE 400 MG 3 TIMES A DAY..

he felt my tummy and could feel something else so i have to go bck tomorrow for a scan..with a possibility of more being left there..
i also asked whilst i was there could that be the reason ive been getting pregnancy symptoms and his reply was yes!

well do u feel relieved? at least its not what you thought it was which could be quite relieving.

antibiotics will sort you out no problem now.
its a good job it came out or else the infection could have got into your blood or anything, so thank god it did come!

i am relived but angry as well... i went to the docters nearly 3 weeks ago with heavy bleeding and he just parted me off.. this could have all been resloved ages ago now.. and the fact they left it inside of me in the first place.. im wondering why if ive got this infection.. could this be the reason bailey has been so ill with a infection as hes been feeding from me!

that makes perfect sense about bailey being off if he's feeding from you.

your better off getting him checked over too?
your immune system will be down too because of you still having pregnancy symptoms and your body thinking that you are pregnant.

im bck tomorrow so will mention it to docter about bailey.. i hope for there sake hes ok though cos otherwise i'll be kicking up a big stink about it..

well im glad that you are ok and its better to get it sorted now, and the antibiotics are good, hopefully they will kill pain and infection hun.
honestly though i would have been the same as you, angry at thefact that they said it was part of it.
i think they should give a woman a scan after she had the baby to make sure everything is out .

ahh thats awfull, no wonder you have been in pain, my frined had the same thing for ages too and she started to smell soooooo bad, it turned out it was really infected.
