Waiting To Ovulate ~July/Aug~

Yeah we totally have to be realists though otherwise we are setting ourselves up for disappointment, I’m going to assume this isn’t my month now until I’m proven otherwise and try and stop symptom spotting, and also stop looking at prams and baby clothes online (a girl can dream!)

I'm just hopping into this thread as I'm pretty sure I'm out for July but waiting to ovulate in Aug. I normally ovulate around the 15th but I already want to poas lol (well it will have to be opks haha)

I’m so confused, I did a random opk tonight and got an almost positive. I’m supposed to be 4DPO now I’ve also got a crampy feeling in my lower abdomen and have been having left sided ovary twinges all day.

I hope I did ovulate a few days ago, I was sure I did but now I don’t know, I did get proper EWCM a few days ago (when I thought I ovulated). Now my cm is watery but a bit sticky at times too.

Would I be getting another fairly strong LH surge at 4DPO? I know we can see a second line all month long but I can’t compare it to previous months as I’ve not tested it this late in my cycle before.

First photo is my random opk tonight, the second one is from a few days ago.

I would rather just think i am out this month and then be pleasantly surprised if i am, but regardless of that, i know come test day and it is negative, of course i will still be disappointed.

Curious to know and hopefully this isnt TMI, but my cm and ewcm tbf is always a small amount but noticeable, its never loads, just enough for me to actually distinguish what type of cm it is - is that normal? or maybe thats just normal for me?

I bet if i was to do an opk, it would probably be the same as yours - it might be perfectly normal.

That’s definitely normal, I don’t normally get a lot either, I think there is a lot more up above the cervix but it doesn’t ‘show itself’, from reading other TTC forums I’ve seen women say they’ve never seen ewcm in their lives but have 3 kids lol, apparently diet can affect it a bit

Just goes to show, we are all very different, especially in our lady movements etc

The good news is that it isn't a positive test as the test line isn't the same or darker than the control.

I'd say you are still at 4dpo - let's hope that strong OPK is an indication of an impending bfp!!!!

I am feeling really uncomfortable atm, like i would before AF arrives

Its almost like its filling up ready to go full force

Bloated and cramping - i wouldnt rule out AF coming early, esp with my random 3 day bleed!

God it feels awful, died down a bit now. Put a tampon in just encase, esp as i am wearing a dress and working in construction, that would not be ideal

Take heart hun, CM isn't a reliable pregnancy indicator as most women only experience a substantial increase at 6-8weeks pregnant. Also, every pregnancy is different, you might things you never felt with the last or vica versa. Don't lose hope!

I second that, I have have conceived twice but both lost before 5 weeks. Both had completely opposite symptoms for each one. One had lots of thick cm the other had no noticeable difference to normal lp cm.

I do feel quite tired today and I was definitely nauseous this morning, but I do get like this in the 2ww, I’ve had some AF type pains too, but then I have had them before and not been preggers

The main thing I’m feeling today to be honest is anxious! Think it’s cos I’m getting closer to the point where I could be finding out for sure if I am or not, it stirs up emotions and I know whatever the outcome i’ll have to deal with certain feelings, either the disappointment of a BFN which in fairness will not last long, I’ll sulk for an hour then look forward to a boozy birthday August, or the simultaneous joy and worry of a bfp, well if you think the 2ww is bad prepare yourself for the 8ww to 12 week scan and being able to tell people cos it’s hell!! Actual hell!

I’m definitely not pregnant, my DH was only about 3 weeks out from VR at my fertile time and we only did it about 3 times.

My left ovary cramps have eased off now and I no longer feel sick. I must have caught a bug from work (I’m a staff nurse so I am always picking up germs), especially in this heat.

I also echo what others have said regarding CM, mine is different all the time. For instance, I’ve got quite wet CM at 5DPO this cycle, last cycle it was dry at this point.
