Well, we are finally back.... they are still saying it's slapped cheek and the other virus that I keep forgetting the name of.
They game me a piriton prescription as they think her face has swelled with her scratching it through the night. I have to put gloves on her tonight for bed time - although I think I may just take her in with me as she wont keep gloves on!
They gave her some of the piriton at the g-docs and we had to stay there to check she didnt have any reaction to it.... thankfully she didn't.
She is just done in tho - we went to asda to get the prescription afterwards and I nipped into get some veg to make her soup as she has the spots in her mouth too and is finding it difficult to eat. Half way round Asda she fell asleep in the trolley, so I also ended up buying a pillow as I had her head leaning on it while I was shopping.
She is now in her PJ's curled up on the sofa next to me with her water, teddy, new pillow (which she loves) and "My friends Tigger and Pooh" on the TV.
Thanks for all your messages, I was panicing so much this morning as her face was like a balloon, and then the rash looked exactly like measles on google.
We just have to ride it out tho - can take 2wks to clear properly
