Hello ladies!

We're going to be back trying as of May 2016, I'm now looking at ways to get my body fully prepared for a baby in hopes I never have to go through another miscarriage!

So I'm looking at what vitamins or supplements people have found are useful.

Also will be doing a mini detox in the new year and reviewing all my eating patterns and hbits to try and make them a little more normal (at one point weigh 5 and a bit stone and my general advise from the GP was eat whatever you fancy whenever you fancy. between it and getting back to the gym I'm now 7.6 stone but clearly just living on snack foods and clearing the fruit bowl every day isn't the best!)

My first pregnancy I used pregnacare, made me feel really sick and had mc.
Took me 15 months to conceive 2nd time, I took folic acid for a year, tried seven seas ttc vits but gave me really bad skin and an awful rash on my neck/jawline. So gave up with them after 3 months and no BFP, then tried Boots own brand conception vits within 3 months I was pregnant. I then went on to Boots pregnancy vits and they have been brilliant the whole way through, they also have ginger in them so good for sickness and digestive health and my nails were amazing.
I decided to see a nutritionist when ttc and really helped sort my diet out. xx

I'm 30 weeks pregnant at the moment, and it's my first pregnancy so I don't know much but I'll tell you how it's been for me! :)

At the beginning, I had a drop of Vitamin D (bought from Organic health shop, quite expensive but lasts forever! And obviously worth it) on my tongue, and 1 Folic Acid pill (also from Organic health shop) every day. I also sometimes on top of this took the Pregnacare Extra, but I found the capsules to be too large and with morning sickness- ew no thank you!

I recently found out that I'm quite anemic, and also very deficient in b12 and am now having to have 3 x b12 injections a week! However, if this had occurred earlier on, I don't think I would have been able to conceive at all as b12 and iron are so essential for baby making. This is something to be especially wary of if you don't eat meat.

It's not such a bad idea to make an appointment with your GP and ask for a blood test to check vitamin levels, and find out what you're too low/high in.

As for diet, I would also suggest seeing a nutritionist. Diet is such a complicated thing and to it's so hard to have a truly 100% balanced diet, I try but I know I don't!

Good luck :)

Thanks ladies! As you can tell, I'm giving things a fairly decent run up so can always swop and change things if they don't work just wanted some rough ideas of the more stomach friendly brands!
