Vitamin drops

Hiya, can anyone give me some advice please?

We've just started to wean lo, he is 6 months and breastfed.
I've read that I need to start giving him vitamin drops (as hes breastfed). I'm confused though as I take the vitamin D drops anyway, do I just need to supplement for vitamin A and C if getting vitamin D through breast milk?

If someone coukd cjarify thatd be great. Which vitamin drops do you use? I've tried to contact health visitor to clarify but can't get hold of her

I don't think you have to when bf. You only have to when ff & LO is not having at least 20oz of milk a day

I dont know I'm afraid.

I was told to give vit D to LO for first 6 months.

I was given vit k drops for lo to give whilst bfing but thats it. Hv also told me to continue taking pregnancy vitamins for 6 months x

I think the recommended advice is to start from 6 months now with vitamin drops, but I never did that as my son was still having more than 20oz of formula a day so getting all the vitamins he needed.

I guess it's to do with the reduction in milk intake and with breastfeeding it's more difficult to know how much milk they are ingesting.

I used abidec drops from 12 months and you just squirt them in their mouths. My son loves then and it's only a small quantity
