I can tell you now even at 15 months we have nights from hell she slept 1hr 1/2 last night !

Your LO is used to falling asleep in your arms, and when you move him, he stirs & wants to go back to sleep the way he normally would (in your arms). Try putting LO in the cot as much as you can thro the day, just so he gets used to it. The only way to stop it is to get LO used to actually falling asleep in the cot. I know its tempting to let them snooze in your arms but it really makes it more difficult.

He slept 7 h last night, it's a miracle! (didn't try anything new with him). I feel so rested, forgot what it felt like!
