Heartbreaking news hun. I can't imagine what you're going through. I hope you get through this and as everyone else says, it is a very brave decision. I'm lost for words to comfort you but there is a good support network on here so if you do need to talk, there will be a lot of people for you to lean on.

HIYA EVERYONE I DONT MEAN TO SCARE ANYONE BUT LIKE I HAD SAID EARLIER ON,MY 20 WEEKS SCAN SHOWED THAT MY BABY HAD ABNORMALITIES,THE STRANGE THING IS THAT AT 12 WEEKS THE SACN SHOWED THAT BOTH HANDSS AND LEGS WERE PRESENT AND THEY WERE NORMAL THEN THE 20 WEEKS SCAN SHOWED THAT ONE HAND WAS MISSING HOW CONTRADICTING AND ALSO MY DON SYNDROME TEST CAME AS LOW RISK.

nOW AFTER SPEAKING TO MY CONSULTANT THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY ADVIVE THAT I GO FOR TERMINATION BECAUSE THERE ARE JUST SO MANY THINGS WRONG WITH THE BABAY.TH E SADEST PART WAS THAT MY CONSULTANT TOLD ME TO CONTACT MARISTOPES AND IASKED FOR THEIR NUMBER AND SHE TOLD ME TO CHECK ONLINE.SO I WENT ONLINE AND DID JUST THAT AND AN APPOINTMENT WAS MADE FOR ME TO HAVE THE TERMINATION TODAY.SO I WAS THERE AT 8.20AM AND THEY WERE STILL ASKING ME WHY MY CONSULTANT DID NOT REFER ME AND WHY THEY DID NOT SEND MY SCAN RESULT TO THEMBUT TO CUT THE LONG STORY SHORT THE TERMINATION PROCESS WAS THE WORST EXPERIANC E OF MY LIFE.AFTER INSERING THE TABLET TO DILATE MY CERVIX AND I WAS IN SO MUCH PAIN,I WAS NOT GIVEN OR OFFERED ANY PAIN RELIEF,I WAS SCREAMING WITH PAIN TO APOINT WHERE BY I TOLD THEM IAM GOING TO CALL FOR AMBULANCE AND GO IN FOR AN EMERGENCY.THE PAIN WAS SO UNBEARABLE THEN THAT IS THE TIME THEY PAID ME SOME ATTENTION AND ASKED TO GO TO THE THEATRE,I WAS IN AGONY FOR 4 HOURS WITHOUT ANY PAINKILLER,THEY KEPT ON SAYING WE ARE GOING TO GIVE ITT TO YOU BUT THEY CONTINUED ATTENDING TO OTHER PATIENS.

MY ADVICE TO GIRLS OUT THERE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO HAVE ABBY PLEASE USE CONTACEPTIVES AND DONT GO FOR N ABORTION UNLESS IT IS DUE TO ABNORMALITIES,THERE WERE SO MANY YOUNG GIRLS THERE AND I WONDERED WHY THEY WRE PUTTING THEMSELVES THROUGH THAT PAIN.

I WAS NOT OFFERED COUNSELLING ASWELL I WAS JUST LEFT ON MY OWN.
HOPE SOMEONE LEARNS FROM MY EXPERIANCE

That is dreadful! I am absolutely amazed i didnt think Mari-Stopes would do such a late procedure as that far on it is considered a delivery!!

its miles away from my experience, i think you should speak to SANDS straight away about both counselling and also some sort of explaination of your treatment. You should also report this and make a complaint to the hospital and the marie-stopes center because that is unacceptable treatment of a human being

also what are they doing about a burial? Any baby born after 20 weeks needs to be buried or cremated by law
