JUST WANTED TO SHARE WITH YOU MY BAD NEWS.iAM 20 WEEKS PLUS PREGNANT,WENT FOR MY 20 WEEKS SCAN,WHEN I WAS THERE THE FIRST THING I WAS TOLD WAS YOU ARE EXPECTING ABABAY GIRL ,THEN THE SONOGRAHER CONTINUED TO LOOK AT THE SCREEN AND SHE TOLD ME THERE WERE OTHER THINGS SHE COULDNT SEE LIKE ONE HAND,ALSO ONE KIDNEY WAS DILATED,THEN PROBLEMS WITH THE HEART AND ALOT OF FLUID IN THE BRAIN.,THEN I WAS BOOKED TO SEE A CONSULTANT STRAIGHT AWAY AND I WAS SEEN BY TWO CONSULTANTS WHO CONFIRMED THE SAME.SO I HAVE BEEN ASKED TO BOOK FOR ATERMINATION THIS WEEK WHICH HAS BEEN BOOKED FOR THURSDAY.IAM SAD,A 20 WEEK FOETUS IS A FULLY FORMED FOETUS AND I HAD BONDED WITH IT,FEELING HER KICKS AND ALL THAT AND I WAS HALF WAY THROUGH MY PREGNANCY,I HAVE CRIED AND CRIED UNTIL I CANNOT CRY NO MORE.I THOUGHT SUCH THINGS ONLY HAPPENED TO OTHER PEOPLE BUT GUESS WHAT IT CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE.

no they did not give aname of the condition and they were worried that what if there are other major complications that they dont know of just as yet.,already there is too many complications ,it was difficult for me to make that decision but i had to anyways.I thought it will be selfish for me to bring her into the world with all those complications.what quality of life could she have had,thanks for your thoughts though and sympathy

I believe they will offer you an amniocentesis to identify if it is genetics and may be help you in the future.
