Hi girls,
I had my 20 week scan last Friday and all went well for most...
I had to have scan with the consultant due to a family history of spina bifida, which thankfully baby does not have. However, the consultant kept going back to the brain and measuring the ventricles which resulted in her telling us that they were measuring 9.9mm, she explained that in normal circumstances anything up to 10mm was acceptable but due to the family history she wants to check this again (I have another scan a week today).
I've checked google which confirmed anything under 10mm is considered normal but I am terrified there is something wrong with my baby girl (also found out we are team pink!!!).
Has anyone else had a similar experience? I am going out my mind with worry!
