New to the forum but happy to be here! I am 24, 4 months pregnant with my first baby and having all kinds of issues :( Was diagnosed a few weeks ago with placenta privea and told it would likely correct itself by birth. I am not on bed rest or anything. Phew! However, I WAS told no sex or orgasms. I will sacrifice and do anything and everything to protect my baby. Let that be said. But OH.EM.GEE. It's hard!!! I have a very high sex drive and my husband and I were having regular sex and found it to actually be more pleasurable since I got pregnant. So to have to stop cold turkey has been rough on us :( I woke up the other night at 2:30 a.m. raging horny and just was like *rawr!!!* So frustrated. Can anyone offer advice on coping or adjusting??? TIA!

I'm sorry, that does sound really rough! We're also having a bit of a difficult time as I find sex whilst I'm pregnant much more pleasurable so would be very happy to be having lots of it and feel horny often but have a cervical stitch, which is like having twine in your vagina so obviously hubby won't have sex with me and I've had a few episodes of bleeding and contractions etc so have to take it easy. But I don't have to avoid orgasms all together, so I really feel for you! I understand it being hard on your relationship as well because being this horny there is no way I can pleasure hubby without getting myself worked up so when I can't we both miss out!
I'm afraid I don't think there is really anything I can offer in the way of advice or anything, I just didn't want you to feel on your own!
Are you being monitored regularly? If so hopefully it won't take long for your placenta to move xx
