I find buying one size up works great because the nappy lifts the legs on trousers so reduces how long they are too, plus you can always roll them up. Ethel Austin sell baby knickers that go over tots bots (i know because thats what Thea wears too most of the time).
www.cut4cloth.co.uk have beautiful clothes too but can be pricey but check them often as they put things in the sale. Their vests are well worth paying the extra for thougH!
This bugs me too as we have had to put away a lot of clothes that Evie could still be wearing if her cloth nappies wernt so bulky . As Melanie said, i just get the next size up in trousers for her, and we get most of her clothes from NEXT.
I have founbd that tesco and sainsbury's trousers are fab for cloth bums, buit I guess it depends on the build of your baby (mine was always a skinny minnie). I always bought bigger sizes and rolled up the legs.
I've managed to get a few Cut4cloth bits 2nd hand, they come up on Ebay sometimes
Other than that, I just buy bigger. Stanley is mainly in joggers or jersey shorts rather than jeans, although I've found a really soft denim pair in Sainsburies, so have bought 3 sizes!
At least with girls, they can wear cute tights and skirts
Thanks girls - I'll keep an eye out for cut4cloth clothes on eBay - I'll probably be bidding against you all!
Minxy - that's a good point about the fact she's a girl and can wear tights and skirts - it's just that we've been given such lovely smock and trouser outfits etc all in 0-3 and I'll be gutted if she can't wear them.
