I am not planning to do this (well at least not until Sunday LOL) but I am curious as to whether this works?

A poster mentioned getitng a very strong + on an OPK and then testing and getting her BFP so I am wondering what other people's experiences are.

i had been doing this carnat with my last pregnacy, there was a line not strong not faint but that was normal for me.... mine only turned dark positive after i got my BFP thou saying that i think everyone may be different as i have read somone posts bout girlies gettin a good line early on

I am purely being nosey and don't intend to start using my OPK's (I only have a few left anyway)

I was just interested after another lady mentioned the line on the OPK was what propted her to test

Exciting!!

I await your pee test eagerly :)

(although I wanted to know if anyone has had strong OPK's prior to testing and getting a BFP)

Only have the faintest of faint lines on it. It's a tesco cheapie but they did the job when I was ovulating. So not sure what that means?
Aahhh I got to indulge in my POAS addiction. Thanks! Haha x

Someone mentioned that she got a very strong + on an OPK and that is what prompted her to do a HPT so I just wondered!

Phew - means I will stick to my original plan of waiting to POAS until next week :)

Check the website peeonastick.com

It has some info about using opks to detect HCG

:)

People say that digis are not that sensitive but I did a FRER and got a BFP at 11 Dpo. Then did a digi and it was BFP too. Boots cheapie was negative as was one step ultra early. I would defo start testing at 10dpo if you can afford it. Sure you know yourself it can take till 14dpo to show a bfp

I am cacking myself to take a test !!! I know that the earlier I know the sooner I can call my specialist BUT it's nerve wracking.

I think I'll wait until next week, as that is what I built myself up for :)

Hi again, just seen your post .. When I got my bfp I also had very positive opks. The test line was actually darker than the control line but I also have a friend who is pregnant and she also took an opk test and it was only a very faint line at first. Took a while for hers to get darker x
