OMG, who voted McCain???

that is a scary thought!

Is there really any need for a comment like that? You can't expect everyone to agree with you. I voted for McCain but I can't see him winning.

I don't expect everybody to agree with me.

And it's not so much McCain who is scary, but his running mate certainly is, for all the reasons listed above............

I agree with you :D Palin is a fruit loop!

"Election campaigners have admitted spending more than £90,000 on clothes and make-up for Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin."

 HOW MUCH?????? 90k worth of clothes? I wish

Come on Obama!

It should be a landslide, but given recent voting history, anything could happen today..............

I hope Obama gets it but I hope they stop harping on about him being black. He could be purple for all I care- he is the strongest candiidate and its based on THAT that he should get the presidancy NOT the colour of his skin.

I think McCain chose Palin as his running mate because he thought as a woman she would pull in the female voters. In reality, she killed his campaign.

I'm interested to see if it will be a landslide- I didn't think Bush would get in again in 2004 and was proved wrong.

I agree Jade.. no one should ever vote fr a president on the colour of their skin.. however I think if Obama is elected    it will be a massive thing and something we should all be proud of. How far the world has come in only a short time (still got a way to go though  )

Obama all the way for me! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: I'm dead excited. It's sad really

I didn't vote in this poll and it would be unfair to do so at this time (5 November at 6.12 am), but just came in to say YAY! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: Obama won! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

ETA: I went back and read the comments on this thread and have to say I agree with the comments about Palin. The moment I saw her I didn't have a good vibe. Her voice didn't help me either. Sounds like fingernails on a chalkboard. EEK! Anyhow, she claimed that she has experience with foreign policy because she could see Russia from Alaska? I looked on a map of the world and even closer to one of the USA (Alaska in particular) and there's no way she could see Russia from Alaska unless she can see over 100 km! The only way to see Russia is if the Baring Strait is frozen and she walks over to the "international border" :wall: Yeah, I'm being sarcastic.

I'm still glad Obama won - not for the colour of his skin, I should add - because the country was ready for change. I couldn't stand seeing another Republican in the White House for another 4 years. Besides, Obama has said some good things in his campaign. I just hope he can fulfil the promises he's made (not that any American president has ever done so in the past :? ).

I should mention that 4 years ago, if I could have voted, I think I would have actually voted Bush because I didn't trust Kerry one bit.

Ok, enough of my two pence thoughts

:cheer: :cheer: I'm so happy. I stayed up watching  fell asleep before it was announced though!
