Urine sample

Hi just wondering if anyone could shed any light on this.

I have to hand in monthly MSU as I am prone to symptomless UTIs in pregnancy, anyway the one I handed in last week has come back clear but they mentioned that there was traces of blood in it, does anyone know what this means? Should I worry?

Hi,

I work in a drs surgery and I have had traces of blood in my urine since the start of my pregnancy. It's generally normal in pregnancy - I have more than the normal pregnant woman so I've had consultant appointments etc! The consultant told me it's not really anything to worry about. The drs will refer you if they feel it's necessary so I wouldn't worry
