Grrr I'm just being fobbed off, Head Office won't do anything more as they say its in the hands of the police. the police say they have no idea what I'm talking about without a crime number, I can't GET the crime number because Head Office won't give it to me for "data protection" reasons. I know the guys NAME already! Give me the flippin' number! 
Nevermind, I know it is being sorted with the police and the bank so I can't really complain about the crime number thing, I'll just have to tell my bank the details and let them get the number themselves.
I am still going to write a letter to Head Office detailing my complaints about how the store handled things though.
