i currently work from home as a contractor however im looking to go back into permanant work, got int today and next week...

What im wondering is when do i tell my employer im preggo? Also will i be entitled to any maternaty as if i tell thme say just after probation they might not let me have any...

Any help would be gr8 thanks

Dont think you have to tell them till your 15 weeks. (not compleatly sure on that)
You wont get any extra maternity off them. Just the standard maternity allowance which is about £112 a week
and i think you get 39 weeks off
all your rights to return to the same job and stuff should be the same

I'm not sure of the situation for contract workers (or for you returning to permanent status after contract) but generally you don't have to tell them until you are 25 weeks pregnant (i.e. 15 weeks before the baby is due).
