Unable to wear earrings

Am not sure if this is pregnancy related or just a coincidence. I have always worn earrings but for a week all of a sudden I have been unable to wear them, it's like the hole has closed up. Has anyone experienced this? I am only 6 weeks pregnant .

I dont know if its the same thing but I've had my belly button pierced for years and never had any trouble with leaving the jewellery out but after my early 6 week scan i left it out for 2 days and struggled to put it back in! It was like it had closed up too!
I think its alright now though, so strange! xxx

I would said thats the bodies defences working over time due to the pregnancy hormones. I leave mine in all the time and during pregnancy they tend to get abit sticky. If you wear gold plated it offen goes green real quick too. xx
